libipc-sharelite-perl software package provides Perl module that provides a simple interface to shared memory, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libipc-sharelite-perl
libipc-sharelite-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libipc-sharelite-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libipc-sharelite-perl *
You will get with libipc-sharelite-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
